How do I get a colour match?
Real Foreigns Pro offers free colour matching services to determine which hair extension colours will be best suited for your hair. Colour matching is done by our team through pictures. To be colour matched, please email us at support@realforeignspro.com with pictures of your hair one in natural lighting. The best pictures would show the entire length of the hair from the back, and should best represent your current colour.
How do Fusion Extensions work?
Fusion extensions are created by hand with keratin flat tip extensions. Each flat tip extension holds 1 gram of hair which is individually installed. The tip is melted with a fusion bonding tool and each bond is formed by hand. Fusion extensions should be installed by a professional for the most comfortable and long-lasting wear. Fusions can be worn for an average of 4-6 months depending on aftercare and hair growth.
How can I get a professional discount?
We offer professional discounts to certified hair extensionists and hair stylists. To get your code for discounted pricing on Real Foreigns products, please email us at support@realforeignspro.com with your full name and a picture of your certification/license.
How can I track my order?
Once your package is shipped out, you will receive an email detailing the shipment information. You will be provided with the tracking number of your parcel in the dispatch email.
Can I swim with my extensions?
Yes! You can swim with your hair extensions. Always wash your hair after swimming, especially in chlorinated or salt water. It is recommended to loosely tie your hair before swimming.
How many packs of hair do I need?
The amount of hair that is needed differs per client, depending on your natural hair density. Please email your hair pictures to support@realforeignspro.com so we can advise better!
The best pictures would be taken from the back in natural lighting, and showing the entire length of your hair.
How do Tape In Extensions work?
Tape in extensions are attached to your hair by combining two tapes together to form a tape sandwich. Tape in extensions should be installed by a professional for the most comfortable and long-lasting wear. Each wear lasts about 6-8 weeks depending on your wear and aftercare, and can be reused for over a year. To reuse the hair, it must be removed, retaped and reinstalled.
Which extension method is best for me?
Each extension method is great for different reasons. When deciding which method to go for, consider your lifestyle and hair type when purchasing extensions. You may wish to consult a professional extensionist for help.
What is your return policy?
Returns can be made only for hair that has been unused, unworn and in its original condition. The packaging seal must be intact and unopened. Real Foreigns allows for 10 days to return any item from when it is delivered. A request must be made within 72 hours of receiving the package to be eligible for a refund. Please refer to our Policies page for more information.
How can I cancel my order?
We understand that you may change your mind after an order is placed. To cancel an order, please send us an email as soon as possible with your name and order number. The parcel must not be shipped out before the cancellation, otherwise it would be a return.
How do I place a custom order?
We accept custom orders for all of our hair extension methods in any colour blends, for lengths up to 30 inches. These orders can be placed from our Custom Orders page.
For colours that are outside of our colour ring, please send us an email with a picture of the specific colour you would like after the order has been completed.
Keep in mind that custom extension are produced as the orders are received. The production time is about 10 to 12 business days.
How can I make an exchange?
Returns can be made only for hair that has been unused, unworn and in its original condition. The packaging seal must be intact and unopened.

Send us an email as soon as possible to see if your item is eligible for an exchange. The exchange process requires that the order is returned before new hair is sent out.
